New Silk and Pleats project

The current project is a silk and pleats story, the material silk-jersey made of 96 % silk and 4 % lycra is transformed into pleats, thereafter hand stitched elastically on top of the handmade top.

Tänkte lägga upp ett projekt som gjordes för några månader sedan. Vi hade som uppgift att plocka isär, drapera, transformera ett plagg(för min del en jacka) till sex olika plagg. Bilderna kan vara otydliga, eftersom jag hade formatet A2 så kunde inte riktigt skanna^^

something old, something new

I've combined the headwear project and the upcycle/recycle project to do this photoshoot. The top is made of plastic table cloth, cutted into circles and draped on. The main idea is to make ECO bridal wear.

I'm showing this time illustrations with my own interpretation of three designer's garments.

1. Mint Designs. I gave this one kind of ocean/sky theme because the look remind's me very much of it. Technique: collage, handdrawing(aquarell and ink) and mixmedia.

2. Hussein Chalayan. This illustration has the theme SPACE. Technique: Also Collage, handdrawing and mixmedia. Why isn't it any smoke from the cigarette? So strange that I forgot.

3. Maison Martin Margiela. A little bit of everything, birds..trees..flowers..the girl is holding alot of birds yes. Technique: handdrawing and mixmedia.

Tänkte visa ett gammalt arbete sen ett halvår tillbaka med temat mutation. Här fokuserades det textil transformering och material experiment. Mitt personliga research la fokus på vad radioaktiva vapen kan förändra människor och natur.

I'm showing here some of my old work with mutation as the theme. On this project, textile tranformation is the main focus and my personal research was radioactive weapons and it's destructive consequences..
